Fate War hero pairings, worked out from the skill numbers
Every hero's skills read in game at maximum level, scored as commander and lieutenant pairs. Here is the strongest set of four marches, one per troop type, with no hero used twice.
Cavalry
+35% Cavalry HP from Wukong and +35% Cavalry ATK from Aska, plus clones, Guards and debuff resistance. Model score 95/100.
Berserkers
Reid's +30% Berserker HP and ATK shred keep the troop alive; Kalthas's DEF shred works in any troop type. Model score 91/100.
Beast Riders
Freyja reflects damage and cuts healing; Vista boosts her Burst and shields the opening seconds. Model score 68/100.

Spend on the day that scores
Two events run almost all the time and score different actions every day. Reading them before you spend is the biggest free power gain in the game.
- Call to Arms: stamina scored 50 points per point on every theme recorded; one Special Calling is worth 1,500 on Upgrade Hero themes.
- Tribal Showdown: your tribe against another tribe, a theme each day, and a PvP finale in enemy territory.
- Stamina caps at 1,500 and each Blackforged attack costs 50, so spend it before it fills.

Primordial Deposits overhaul (2026-09-29). Servers open for 7 days or more can now take part in Primordial Deposits. Troops that return to the safe zone automatically hand in the points they carry and are refilled to full. Tapping Return inside the safe zone sends you back to your Keep.

What is the best hero pairing in Fate War?
Do both heroes in a march use their skills?
Yes. The commander and the lieutenant both apply their skills. A few skills only work for one role: Odysseus's Armor Piercer needs him as commander, Vista's Shadow Oath needs her as lieutenant.
How do I get stronger in Fate War without paying?
Keep every queue busy, join an active tribe, build one pair per troop type, and spend stamina, speed-ups and hero items only when Call to Arms or Tribal Showdown scores them. The F2P guide has the full plan.
