Battle for Jotunheim – Event Guide, Tips & Strategies | Fate War
Battle for Jotunheim – Event Overview
The Battle for Jotunheim is an intense, time-limited event where Tribes compete on a parallel map to gather resources, claim boosts, and defeat enemy forces. Each event runs for 48 hours and is structured into fixed seasons, allowing your Tribe’s performance to be tracked on a seasonal leaderboard. Season statistics are preserved as part of your all-time record, and you can view past leaderboards by switching between seasons.
Participation Requirements
- Any Tribe can join the event, if the tribe is in Top20 in their server.
- Only the top 15 players of each Tribe are selected as the main team for the event. Tribe leaders can also select 10 additional backup members.
- No resources are needed to join.
Event Mechanics and Rules
- Resource Gathering: Send troops to gather resources from various buildings across the map. Some buildings provide temporary boosts while occupied.
- PvP Competition: Tribes can attack each other’s occupied buildings. If your Tribe loses control of a building, the opposing Tribe will continue gathering points there until the resources are depleted.
- Neutral Boss: A boss spawns every 15 minutes. Both Tribes can attack it, but the Tribe that defeats the boss receives a tribe-wide boost.
- Troop Strategy: While there is no restriction on troop type, Cavalry units are highly effective due to their higher movement speed and carrying capacity.
Season and Leaderboard System
- The event is divided into fixed seasons, each with a start and end date (e.g., 2025/8/10 – 2025/9/27).
- Tribes compete throughout the season, and points are accumulated based on resource gathering and building control.
- All statistics are saved per season, allowing you to track your Tribe’s all-time performance.
Hero and Troop Recommendations
- Heroes that boost troop size, gathering efficiency, or provide rally support are extremely valuable.
- Use fast-moving troops to maximize points from multiple buildings and respond to attacks.
- Consider balancing DPS heroes for clearing enemy troops and support heroes to maintain troop health during extended fights.
Tips for Maximizing Points
- Coordinate with your Tribe to occupy multiple resource buildings simultaneously.
- Prioritize high-value buildings and time your attacks on the neutral boss for maximum boost points.
- Communicate actively to prevent losing points to the opposing Tribe.
- Focus on heroes and troop compositions that maximize efficiency in both gathering and combat.
Conclusion
The Battle for Jotunheim is a test of strategy, teamwork, and hero deployment. Tribes that coordinate effectively, choose the right heroes, and control key resources on the map will dominate the seasonal leaderboard and earn the best rewards.
