Troops & Army Development

Developing a strong army is essential in Fate War, both for defending your kingdom and participating in events. In the first month, understanding troop types, training priorities, and hero pairing will give you a strong foundation for long-term success.

Your kingdom has several barracks, each producing different units:

• Berserkers – Melee, strong damage output.
• Axethrowers – Ranged units with good damage-to-health ratio.
• Cavalry – Fast-moving units, effective for raiding and quick strikes.
• Beast Riders – Balanced troops, useful in multiple situations.

Train a mix of units, but focus on higher-tier troops as soon as you can support them.

2. Don’t Let Your Barracks Idle

Always have ongoing training batches. Use speed-ups efficiently, especially before sleep and after waking, to keep army growth consistent without wasting resources.

Heroes enhance your troops’ performance. Pair heroes according to their role (DPS, tank, gatherer, garrison) and troop type. Early on, focus on heroes you can consistently upgrade. For detailed hero pairings, check our Heroes Guide.

Assign two heroes to your Wall for defense. Choose heroes with strong defensive skills or tank roles to minimize losses during attacks. Joining a tribe with strong diplomacy reduces early raids and gives more flexibility in managing your army.

• Train troops steadily without overextending your resources.
• Focus on balancing your army size and composition.
• Upgrade lower-tier troops gradually while building higher-tier units for future events.
• Coordinate with your tribe for rallies and resource gathering to maximize efficiency.

Events like Tribal Showdown or Call of Valhalla provide rewards that accelerate your army development. Pay attention to tasks that require troops and plan your training batches accordingly.

• Upgrade heroes selectively to strengthen your army strategically.
• Monitor resource availability before training large batches to avoid bottlenecks.
